We are happy to confirm that we are able to continue instrumental tuition in our schools for the Summer Term, 2021.

With this in mind, we have put certain measures in place to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and everyone else that we come into contact with for the duration of our school visits. Please see below for the following changes that have been made:

  • We will only be offering individual lessons for the foreseeable future, this is to prevent children from mixing out of their bubbles.
  • All Staff will be taking lateral flow tests before coming into school.
  • All staff will wear clear visors/face masks when on school grounds.
  • All staff will take time to clean instruments in-between use, and will continue to regularly wash and sanitize their hands in-between lessons.
  • For drum lessons, students must bring their own sticks and books for each session to prevent sharing. Guitarists must bring their own plectrums.
  • If possible, the tutor will keep within a two-meter distance of the student at all times.

The lessons will of course, still be taught in the usual fun and friendly manner. We are aware that the mental well-being of each child is just as important as the physical, and we will continue to support this and implement it into our tuition.

We are very much looking forward to seeing you all again this term!

Application Form:

  • This will not be used for any marketing purposes
  • Would you like to purchase additional materials? Drumming Book One is highly recommended for beginners. Guitarist's parents will be contacted and advised on what book to purchase.

  • Please let us know if you there is anything else you think we may need to know before lessons commence (certain individual needs for example)
  • Terms and Conditions

A term’s payment is due before lessons commence. Once payment is received, lessons will proceed and any ordered products (books, sticks etc) will be given out at the first lesson. Refunds will not be given due to child absences. If a lesson cannot be fulfilled by our tutors the time will be made up in the following week(s). If this cannot happen a refund will be given. If a lesson is cancelled due to no fault of the tutor (trips/school commitments etc) we will do our best to make up the lesson in the following week(s). If you wish to cancel your child’s lesson you must give Cornwall Music Tuition at least one month’s notice, so we are able to regroup timetables.
